Who We Are

GHASEA (Ghana Association of Greater Seattle) is a thriving hub dedicated to preserving heritage, fostering connections, and empowering individuals. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we serve Ghanaians and friends of Ghana in Washington State, ensuring that our culture flourishes while providing networking, support, and development opportunities.

The Entrepreneurship and Workforce Development Program is designed to empower community members by providing comprehensive training in both entrepreneurial skills and job readiness. This initiative focuses on equipping individuals with the tools necessary to start their own businesses or to become competitive candidates in the job market. Participants receive instruction in business planning, financial literacy, and marketing strategies, alongside job readiness training that includes resume building, interview preparation, and workplace communication skills. By fostering both entrepreneurial acumen and employment competencies, the program aims to stimulate economic growth and self-sufficiency within the community, enabling participants to contribute meaningfully to the local economy.

Scholarship Fund

Our Scholarship Fund is a vital initiative to support the educational aspirations of students within our community. Rooted in our commitment to uplifting future leaders, the fund provides financial assistance to deserving students of Ghanaian heritage who demonstrate academic promise, leadership potential, and community involvement.
